I got the same message just now, but from a woman. She said she wanted to be connected to the CEO and I said our phone system does not allow that and that I could take a message and pass it on. She then said she is calling from FEDEX and has a package for him and his email address is not working. She then hung up on me abruptly.
Person called from 213.283.6417 5x already today. The 4th time, it was a fake sounding high pitched voice asking for John Goodman. ???? I told them not to call back and we were not interested.
We receive at least twenty calls from 213-283-5824 every week. They use our MD's name and say he has told them to speak to us about some or other documents. They call reception and ask for the sales manager, then the engineering manager then the quality manager and so forth. I instructed the receptionist to put all their calls to me and then when I tell them to get lost they call back and use foul language then hang up. They have somehow even managed to get hold of some of our mobile numbers and constantly bother us.
