I'm in Louisville, Kentucky and I was scammed twice but not by this company. I didn't fall for it. I got 2 phone calls, several months apart, from someone with an accent (India) claiming to be calling from Microsoft and telling me that my computer is going to crash in a matter of days unless I let them into it to make repairs. They wanted my access code and passwords. The first time it happened, my computer was in storage and had been for almost a year. The second time, I told them I didn't have a computer and the man just said "sorry to bother you" and hung up. Both calls were reported to Microsoft. Just another scam people should be aware of.
A man named Steven Scott called me and left a message saying I needed a lawyer and if I did not have one he wished me good luck. I called them back and he said that the sherrifs were going to show up to my job Monday morning if I didn't send him $788 western union for a loan I had paid on. It really scared me. Then after some googling and looking this number up (213-289-3789) I came to fid out it is a big scam.
they just called me in told me i will be in jail the nextday if i dont pay 900 to them now. Thats a lot of bs when i bcalled back n said i was a cop they hung up on me . then i called n said my dad a cop just called why didnt u talk to him. they said they didnt get a call so this must be a scam . I dont even work but they going to send the cops to my job wtf if u know where i live send them there and besides i didnt get any mail or email . So if u get that call dont pickup u will just get yourself mad. Look out for 7602694173 and 2132893789
I got a call from this guy today and basically the same story as the people above. I called back a couple of times and the guy became really rude. Said he was going to google all the information he has beloning to me so people could steal my identity. For a second this guy had me thinking it was real. Im going to change my bank account information as soon as possible.
