It is a scam originating in India. They call you and tell you that you've been sued or that you're going to be arrested for some damn thing or another. But. They can make it ALL go away if you send them some money in a Green dot money pak which is untraceable. Old scam, been around. Just hang up on them if they call you. Indian accent is a dead giveaway.
This is the fake IRS calls from India morphed into calls from the US Treasury now. I told the person he is a con artist and somebody is going to come over there and chop off their legs. He, Anthony Cooper was the name he gave for himself, hung up.
