I received a call from this number that my phone said 'Los Angeles, CA'. Really?? It would have been 6:15am their time, so looks like it's one of 'those' who used a spoofed number. I answered and said hello about 4-5 times and then.. 'you called me, please say something' and the line went dead. Makes me leery - what purpose is there in calling and not saying a word and hanging up - or even have your robo-autodialer do that? I am so sick and tired of getting these calls. I think my being on the DO NOT CALL list is the reason why I get so many. Is the FCC selling their do not call lists? Sure does seem like it. No sense in signing up for DO NOT CALL in the future. It has become worthless, and the FCC needs to do something to stop this!!
I was called by that number during class and I didn't answer because I was a little skeptical, but as I always do I ask who it is in a text message but I'm starting to feel like I shouldn't have done that. So I am just gonna block the number..
I actually answered the call - some guy named "Josh from Customer Service" trying to tell me that I was pre-selected as a winner of an all expenses paid trip to Disney. After about a minute of this, I hung up....seriously?
