Left me a VM so I called back. I asked him when the IRS started leaving sensitive info over VM and not mail letters. He didn't reply. So I said told him I've received multiple calls from this number for the same scam and it's illegal - he told me to shut up and listen to him speak. Guy on other end said he wasn't the IRS and to never call him again or he'd press charges. Called back 6 more times and he picked up all 6 times pretending to be an IRS agent. He's so stupid at his own game.
Message left on voice mail stating that they were from the IRS, and that we were being sued. With today's technology potentials, why, oh why can't these calls be stopped, and if they're originating in the US. why are not the responsible people being arrested and placed behind bars?
They called me. Said they were calling from the irs. Going to file a lawsuit. I said I was going to report them yo the FTC . Just remember the irs will never call you. I dialed them back about 100 times or more basically to harass them. Let them see how they like being harassed.
Called them back after they left me a message. Played along and gave them fake name, really fake address, super fake number (along the lines for 703-555-5123). She "pulled up my account" and gave me a bogus claim number. Told me I was going to be arrested but could settle for 9k over the phone. I interrupted her to laugh and she said "Don't interrupt me or I'll arrest you now!"
Told her I was recording the convo and she said that was illegal and she was going to sure me for that too!! LOL
