I'm sick of these people who think they call me on a phone that I pay for. Maybe we should all send them our phone bills. This is obviously a scam and probably from a foreign country.
They said I need to contact them prior to my account being closed and to press 9 so I did, the lady said she was with card services. wanted to know if I was paying more then 10% interest on any of my credit cards. I asked what company they were assiciated with. She said something about all 77 accredited credit card companys. I asked her about what acccount I had with them that was about to be closed. She then hung up on me, and when I try to call the number back from my home number it's like they blocked my number. I'm sure they are fishing for personal info. don't give them any info. Rude.... and I'm sure a scam...

Same number this time call four or five times a day I never answer just let it right.My phone provider told me you can stop them, most are from overseas etc and when they shut down one number they call from another. They ought to make phones with a blocking capacity.;
Just got a call from these folks. It's a scam. I asked him for verification that he's an actual company & not scammers & he gave the following:
Andrew
credit card services of America
800-847-2911
Agent id 8026
...and he could personally verify that his company definitely is not a scam. Whatever. The call back number he gave me is a number from Visa, and here's what Visa says about phone fraud:
"It’s important for consumers to know that Visa will not call or e-mail cardholders to request their personal account information. Visa call centers do not initiate outbound telemarketing calls. Consumers should not respond to any e-mails or phone calls with requests for any personal card information and are advised to immediately report the situation to local law enforcement as well as the financial institution that issued their card. Cardholders should also know that Visa’s zero liability* fraud policy ensures that they are not held responsible for any unauthorized purchases."
Visa won't call us and ask for our credit card info.!!!
Please people, never give your credit card info. out over the phone or by email!!!!!
Just received a call from 213-344-4839 with caller ID "Servers TDM" saying I was eligible for lower interest rates on my credit card. When I asked her which credit card without naming any, she said "Visa, MasterCard, Discover...any that you have." When I questioned her further about which specific account, she hung up. :) I tried calling the number back several times, but I received a busy signal each time. DO NOT give any information to these people! It is definitely a SCAM!
