Absolutely true I will ignore him and I reported him and I thanked BigA  is there a way to find out how he got my info they even called my husband and his number is new but he only knew my maiden name not my married name I called my phone service provider and they say they don't give out information so no idea how he got it. I feel so much better now I was stressing all day today so glad I decided to Google the number thanks again ☺

I received a call today from that number. The guy claims to be a lawfirm working for a client that bought out a hospital in f.l Stating I owe money for a hospital bill from 2007 and that they served me to a really old address  I don't live in the state of Fl and haven't for over 5 years and he has my phone number but my maiden name birthday and ss# am I being scammed Im supposed to pay them tomorrow but all of these stories are all what I've was told and it was the same guy every time I called

BigA said enough, follow what he said. Remember NO kind of answer at all and this thief can do nothing to you.

Afterhours ROBO greeter ID themselves as the "Lawsuit Identification Department"  Basically a scam name for debt collectors.   Callers are basically hiding behind spoofed numbers and business names.

In any event serious debt scammers.  It'd be best to simply ignore and block the calls.

If they are bothering you, report them:

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand.
