Just got a call. A gentleman with a heavy Asian accent told me that his name is Jason Connor telling me that he represents IRS Tax Fraud Department. He accused me of tax fraud and threatened me with arrest. This whole thing is bogus because I file my taxes every year with the help of the professional CPA. Besides, IRS has 800 number and not some shady downtown LA phone.
The caller is fraudulent : stating that he is from the "IRS" and trying to collect $ or else paperwork is filed in Federal Court for arrest on tax fraud.
I also received a call fro this number. Message stated I had filed fraudulent taxes and a warrant for my arrest would be issued in federal court unless I returned their call. This is a fraud scam. If the I.R.S. is after you they ALWAYS contact you by mail.
I also got a call from this number. Left a message twice saying that I did some illegal tax evasion and tax fraud. If I do not return the call within 24 hours, he Melvin Beckett of tax mortgage of IRS will proceed with my arrest.
