I was called by Officer "Somebody" and said I had a warrant out for my arrest and that I needed to report myself by 2pm. They gave me that number to call and said it was US Legal Support. No one answered so I looked up agency and one came up for my state. I called them and they said it was probably a scam because they are a court reporting agency. I called the original number back and it was from the police department.
Caller said he was from the naperville non E police department and said I had to call 213-401-0061 by tomorrow afternoon as there was an outstanding warrant regarding a lawsuit. I called the naperville police and they said it was a scam and they had nothing on me. Couldn't help but notice the others on this page are from the same date
Needless to say I was terrified when the call came in
The initial call you received was actually from your police department?! I could not identify the caller because I don't have caller ID on my landline.
