I got this call on my cell phone, while I don't give my number business, the person left a number...it was my sister, but being she lives in NC not CA, I think it is strange. I tried to call her back several times, it just gave a busy signal each time. She said she would call me back...so I we shall see what the outcome is...the saga continues..
I got a call today from this number (the caller ID said Vertex Group) and the woman speaking had a very strong foreign accent (Chinese, maybe?). She kept pressing me to tell her my name, to make sure she had really reached a wrong number. Have any scams related to this number been reported ?
Ok...weird...I received this number about 10:40 am on Sept 10, 07...didnt recognize it so i didnt answer it. 2 minutes later same number...BUT...a voicemail was left at 10:44am. It was my accountant. But she isnt even in the 213 area! Its not even her number! So Im thinking this number is some sort of hack! Or maybe she called at same time this number called.
