It's called 'caller id spoofing'. The people calling you can make any phone number show up on your caller id. They're making a number show up that charges you money if you call it and press a certain key.
At the same time they've disguised the messages on their pay by phone system as surveys. Those messages normally tell you what you're buying and how much it costs.
Check your bill for unwanted charges if you called this number back.
Spam. Junk. There has to be a way to fully stop it or recognize the name on the caller. They are aviousy tryin to hide their name. Like all the others. I just know I'm miss that call that could have changed my life because of callers like these.
What a pain in the butt. No one has my cell number except family, and then for emergencies only. Heart is in my throat every time these ^$$-#oles call. Call back says something like, "You were called for a survey. Press 2 if you do not want to receive future calls, or just hang up." I pressed "0." They y automatically disconnected me.
