This is a scam. If you are being called from this number they are trying to convince of a complaint filed in your name and they will serve you at your job if not cleared up by paying a fee.
Definately a scam! Got a call but no message. Called back and they identified me by name (probably from caller id). Said they are mediators for debt collections (never heard of that-either a debt collector or not) Said they had a "grievance" filed by "United" for an unpaid debt. I said I never had any accounts with "United".He said he was looking it up and found it. It was for an unpaid balance of $5000 on a *DEBIT* card I had in my name through "Universal". I assured him his info was wrong and he stated he would forward my statement and file to the court officer and we can decide in court. I told him that would be just fine and I looked forward to seeing him there. How does one end up with a $5000 balance due on a DEBIT card? Don't think that's possible.....
Called and didn't leave a message. I have my home phone forward to cell and came up out of Los Angeles. Added to my blocked list which is great on my iPhone. Has slowed down a ton of these calls.
SCAM alert! These crooks are hoping you don't know they are criminals. It is against the law to call with a recorded message to collect debt in the manner in which they attempt it. Read your rights. "BigA" has the websites. They want your personal information so they can drain your bank account to fund their illegal activity. They could be drug dealers or isis. They offer nothing to society. They are bottom dwellers. Don't answer and don't talk to them but report them. If they have a real grievance against you, "send a letter". Jerks!
