Who called from 2134462544

Anyone else getting calls from this phone number?

This is an IRS scam, it called me TWICE in one day, stating that they were filing a lawsuit against me.  The first time I let the answering machine pick it up, the second time I picked it up - both times had the same prerecorded female voice.  Just don't bother with it.

(213) 446-2544 is a wireless phone based in Los Angeles, California.

A recorded message (female voice) stated that the Internal Revenue Service has filed a lawsuit against me.  The message stated further that I should return the call to 213-446-2544 in order to learn about my "IRS Case File" and provide an answer to the lawsuit.

Simply put, the caller is a fraudster who is looking to get my personal identification and defraud creditors in my name.

213-446-2544* was assigned by New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC.  It is NOT a phone number belonging to the Internal Revenue Service.

Claiming to be from the IRS and I was apparently sued and need to call a number they left, IRS will never reach you by phone. Just locked the number.

I was out of town, but had two voice mail messages from 213-446-2544 and the recorded message said "call 213-446-2544 immediately".  This caller called twice within 3 hours.
