The exact same thing happened to me but they called for my college-age son, and we have different names. When I mentioned my husband was with an international law firm with an office in LA and they'd be contacting him the phone cut off. I called back and they wouldn't talk to me. I've reported it to the FBI.
I received a call on my voice mail telling me to call asap because I owe money and he said his name was Mike Anderson or Henderson/thick accent said I need to call him back asap and talk to my attorney because we have a series problem. The number on my caller ID is unknown this is a scam because I have been targeted before by this same person...
