They have called at least 9 - 10 times every day. I too have attempted to get them to quit calling but I never have anyone at the other end. When you call them back you're put on hold so long a person never comes on the line. I have registered with "DO NOT call list" and intend to file another complaint.
I have been receiving as many as 7 calls a day from this number, beginning about a month ago. The calls are coming to one of my prepaid cell numbers that I use simply as a backup number. I have never given the number to anyone, so this is truly random/persistent dialing on their part. Thanks to one of the other posters, I have no filed a complaint with the LA BBB. Not sure if it will help, but it certainly can't hurt. I'm also considering calling T-Mobile, and asking for another number. I know that this is not their practice, but under the circumstances, it's making the current number I have all but useless.
Been getting calls from this number for a couple weeks. Never anyone there. After I answer they hang up. Tried calling it back. Held for 2-1/2 minutes then I hung up.
I answered the call today (the third one before 10:00 AM). A woman asked for Maxine, and indicated she was calling about a grant (or something). I told her:
"I have filed a complaint with the LA BBB, the National Do Not Call Registry, I am not Maxine, and stop calling this ____ing number".
So far, three hours later, no call. We'll see. But I have filed the complaints, and I hope they burn in hell.
