geez this number has called me 29 times since Jan. 16 2009. and they always call at crazy hours of the day. I put them on the reject list so it won't ring but it'll still show when they call. how do i stop them from calling??
I have been getting calls from them all day. They called at 8am central time, 10:38 am central time, and 12:27 central time. I answered the last call and they spoke very broken english and told me that the call was monitored by the US Government for federal purposes so that I would be protected. Then they proceeded to tell me they had a package to send to me so that I could receive thousands of dollars for personal use from the government, all I needed to do was pay shipping and handling. I then asked if they had a website and whoever i was speaking with told me yes, but would not give my the web address. They got aggravated when I told them I would rather look into it myself- and told me that there were many others that wanted this and then hung up. Sounds SUPER fishy to me- who calls you to offer you that much money??? Where's the catch? You have to tell them you want them to quit calling you.
If you go to www.donotcall.gov you can put your name on the do not call list and it will take 31 days to make sure you do not get contacted by telemarketers, after that if they can continue you can file a complaint with them~ I just did it. what a stress saving website!!!
They have been calling me over and over...I spoke to a foreign woman one time and she said she was calling me about a 'work at home' job. I told her I wasn't interested, she hung up on me. Since then I have been getting calls, when I answer, the immediately hang up - this is really beginning to piss me off.
