Claiming to be an Officer from the IRS and that this was their second attempt to contact me. They said I would face criminal charges and be arrested if I ignored the call. Total scam.
I just received the same call and I returned it. The man was very rude and told me I had unpaid taxes, and I would be arrested. I told him my taxes are paid, he was VERY rude to me. I hung up on him
Just received call from this number at 11:11A (PST), Friday, June 26, 2015. Was a muffled recording about IRS fraud investigation, and if I did not respond to them voluntarily to "clear up" the matter, i could be arrested and prosecuted, etc. I have heard of this scam Before. Thru these scare tactics, many unwitting folks have been bilked out of a lot of money. Disgusting!
