It's next to impossible to return items once you have fallen for this scam. I've found a fast and easy way to end these calls: let them get through their initial pitch about the new catalog and whatever seasonal special event that they are kicking off, then they always ask if I'm still using that 2" tape, same as ever, to which I respond "no, we're completely off tape here. We're exclusively using adhesives here." This confuses them enough to end the call. Feel free to use this non-sequitur next time they call, it's kind of fun.
SAME THING HAPPENED HERE. I WORK AT A BUSINESS, AND HE CALLED AND ASKED FOR PARTS DEPT. I SAID. THATS ME..HE SAID "NO PARTS DEPT." I TOLD HIM AGAIN..YES, THAT IS ME. I FIGURED BECAUSE I WAS A WOMAN, HE DIDN'T BELIEVE THAT I WORKED IN PARTS BECAUSE I WAS A WOMAN..THEN HE HUNG UP ON ME.
Well, I feel special, cause these clowns call at least once a month for the past year. Their are looking for an open PO number from you so they can bill you for stuff they never sent.quite comical
I was on a first name basis with "lisa".
if you have callerid and the 213 area code comes up, politely say no thank you
or ask "Lisa" how her feet are
LOL
Hey, This guy just called here asking for shipping and wanting to send us 'supplies' and a radio... seems like these guys are still in business... We get about five or six scam calls per year that I am aware of, I am sure there are more... Our shipping guy missed it and gave them our address but no po number... Hopefully we can catch the shipment and refuse it...
Same here...called my company asking for mail/receiving department. Told him we did not have that department. He was very rude and hung up on me! Jerk!
A man called from this number and asked for our shipping department. Same thing happened as happened to blws. I told him I could help him and he hung up on me. Seems like this is a common happening. Does anyone know who or how to report aggravating calls like this? It is so aggravating to get these calls at work. I run to the phone from time to time only to have someone hang up or something like that.
