i never ever borrowed from this company...EVER. I truly believe they fish through online applications of other companies i have inquired about in my "desperate" times.
the 1st thing i'd asked was for names phone numbers and addresses. the 1st non-speaking english person who sounded of an indian descent couldnt even pronounce my american name. he had me on hold for 3 mins as i'd patiently awaited another indian speaking man named Mr. Dejesus... how ironic? but i asked for the info... he repeated my SS# which sounded correct but i never confirmed. i'd asked what company was the law office representing, and he stated quick pay day loan. as i've stated...never heard of these people. when i asked what was the date the funds were loaned, he immediately started yelling. i then hung up. i can be professional, but if you are willing to work with me, be courteous and professional, no matter if a customer is yelling and or cursing, which i was neither.
i have learned being in dire straits, that as a consumer, you still have rights. do your homework. if a company is going to bring you through and to litigation and they have all of the information...where is the legal documents that should be sent in the mail? i figure if i am on the east coast, and this company is on the west coast, as theyve claimed... (eventhough the law ofc is out of Georgia) i would like to stand by and see this trick. so go on mr Dejesus... sue me...i have every statement for my acocunts... you have to prove how much and when you've loaned me this imaginary money...all i can do is laugh and hang up...come to your senses people and realize this is one big joke. they gave me a fake address also... 17100 gillette ave of los angeles ca 92614 for a quick pay day loan represented by william scott and associates. if they keep calling me, i will send a few notices to the consumer affairs and contact bbb.
After getting a threatining message from this phone number, posing as an attorneys offce I called back and he had a bunch of information about me. He said that they had my credit report and that I was going to be arrested tomorrow because I didn’t pay back a payday loan. I told him I never got a payday loan and he said that I was lying to him. No matter how many times I asked for the date of this supposed transaction he would hang up on me or tell me that it will all get straightened out tomorrow after they come and arrest me. I told him that it is illegal to withhold information if he was truly suing me and that I should be handed court papers and go to court first. I told him if he could just give me the date I could go to the bank and have a statement printed out verifying that no such transaction occurred. He hung up on me several times.
Thank you again for this info. This person has my bank info saying I got the payday loan under this such and such bank and he had my credit report stating who my house is through and he is going to take my house I was told I would be arrested tomorrow (Friday at my work if I don't verify this information) I am ready to call the police as I am worried now.
they also called me telling me the same information...ive called back several times asking questions and they in turn yell and cuss at me..is there anything we can do to track these people down
I rec'd a message from this number today. He left a msg saying his name was Randall Rains and left a phone number of 213-550-4451. He stated it was of the hight importance, to call back as soon as I got this message or have my attorney call. Stated if I didn't call immediately he couldn't help what would happen next and wished me good luck.(They called my home phone and work phone). When I try to call back it doesn't identify who it is, just states the voice mail is full.
About a year ago, I also rec'd this type of call looking for my husband. They made the threat of going to his work and arresting him the next day etc. I finally got the name of a pay day loan company they were supposedly collecting money for and called that company directly. They took my information and advised that it was a scam and not to pay it. They are illegally obtaining personal information and using to try and get money out of people.
Wow..> Thanks so much. He would not tell me what company it was from. I got a call last year about this time and they spoke to my husband threatening I was going to jail for a long time for Fraud. Thank you again for the info
