Go to recents and beside the number there is a i in a circle. Press the "i" and then scroll down to block this number.

Its easy, click on the Phone icon,click on Recents, find the number in the list click on the blue icon far right, scroll to bottom and click on Block this Caller, problem resolved.

Go to recent phone call history, select the "i" next to the number, scroll all the way down and you'll see an option to "Block this caller"

I have a iPhone 5..what I did was create a contact called "block" and then I add these bogus numbers to it as they come in.  When you're in your contacts you can select "Block this Caller" at the bottom and I did that to the "block" contact.

This number keeps calling my house phone so I did a national search through a few law enforcement people that I know and the number is the California directory assistance number that has been pulled and used by a woman named Karen in Oregon which I'm gonna be calling her house constantly and see how she likes it
