I got call from this no. too. When I googled it, it also said "The Varnish". Don't know that place. Perhaps its a public phone where someone scam artist is trying to scam us consumers. OR it is " A Front" & a bunch of Scam Artist are working together as Fake Debt Collectors! If so, they are going to HELL! Leave US ALL ALONE!
Just looked it up. The Varnish is a bar in downtown Los Angeles. I checked out their current # and it appears that someone is using the old number. Big time scammer. I never answer any call not recognized. If they want to talk to me bad enough, they can leave a message.
They called me and we didn't pick up because we are tired of the robo calls and political calls. We screen before we pick up. Anyway, I called back later and the voice message said they were a cocktail bar (closed on Sunday apparently) and that it was first come first serve. We don't even live in the same state and never heard of them. Must be a telemarketer.
