received a call this morning from 213-622-9999. Didn't answer it. No message was left on the answering machine. It showed The Varnish with number above. They hung up. Getting tired of all these calls. We get 4-5 a week. A lot from same number. We have tried everything but the calls keep coming. Anyone no how to stop these calls?

There are several ways to block telephone numbers if you use a computer. If not, Panasonic sells a telephone system that blocks up to 250 numbers. There are also inexpensive blocking devices that can be bought on Amazon.
This is obviously a scam & a spoofed #. Never answer or give real information to these callers.
So I get this call for 213-622-9999. I google it.. says it's a bar/pub in LA.. obviously a scammer spoofing a legit number. Good rule of thumb, don't be curious--if you don't know the number then don't answer it. Google it first.
Got a call from 213-622-9999 and it said The Varnish - LA on the caller ID around 9:30 pm last night and then again at 9:15 am this morning. So much for sleeping late on a Saturday. I didn't answer it because I didn't know the number.
