This number 213-631-3606 left a VM claiming her name was Marcella and she was calling from the BBB.
1. We already have a local contact for BBB to talk to and notifies us for renewal.
2. It's out of any possible connection to the fact that 213 is out of our area in the Bay area.
3. They come in like that regularly from different BBB agents.
Telemarketers are telemarketers, even if you know and respect the company. They ARE FOR SURE telemarketing to get your account for them instead of wherever you go or if you want to join. They have stooped to personal cell numbers to get you to call them. Don't answer.
Asked for the owner of the company by name. Real casual, like he knows him. Like you'd ask for a friend. I didn't recognize the name on caller ID ("Stephen Morelan"). I asked if I could assist him. He said he would call back, asked when (owner's name) would be back in the office. I HATE these sneaky types!!
