I got a call from this phone number and a recorded msg stated that I qualified to save 40% on my phone bill; then it said that I should click on a number if i wanted to stop the rate hike. sounds like a scam or at the very least a marketing call.
Got a call just now and a woman asked me if I was interested in home, auto or life insurance. I asked her a couple times what the name of the company was and she just said it's an insurance agency. I asked her why she wouldn't tell me the name of the company she is calling from and she hung up on me. Looks like I'm not getting insurance today :)
