I get phone calls a lot from this number. They have called my house 6 times tonight in 4 hours. The last call was just about 5 minutes ago at 10pm at night. Isn't there a law against times "companies" can call? They have told me they are a payday help company. I just ended up going off on them this last time. I have children who are in bed that have school in the morning and do not appreciate them calling late at night.
They have been calling about 6 time today and it only noon. They will not leave a voice mail nor when I call back will they identify them selves or company. It just says please hold for next available agent.?
"Best Pay Today" is the company name used when i called back. The woman that called told me the company she was calling from was cashnow.com after I had asked her 3 times and threatened to hang up.
The other company they claimed to be was Payday loans. (a different occasion)
We have been receiving these calls filled with threats of legal action since shortly after the wells fargo hack.
The best advice I can offer to sort through them is to press them for easy information about themselves and hang up on a man claiming to be "Peggy" :-)
Almost any and all .com loans are info stealers. I have had a run around or two with companies like this... They operate outside of the confines of United States law for E-Commerce and Online payday loans... If you get any calls from a company claiming you qualify for a loan,, HANG UP !!! They are just looking for the next easy mark.. Almost all of them will tell you to get a prepaid dot card to show them a sign of good faith you will repay the laon you will never get, WHY? Because it's a scam. Hard times have fallen on alot of honest, hard-working AMERICANS and it sucks there are people out there preying on our misfortunes. My advice is go to a REAL bank or Credit Union for loans. Not these bloodsucking vultures claiming to help with a short term solution. IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE THEN IT USUALY IS NOT TRUE.!!!
