I think the people calling are from an Online College... I tryied looking for a Job resently & they basically wouldn't get off the phone until I said they could send info. & someone could call... BUT I did not realized theses [***] Holes would keep calling instead of leaving a message like I told the guy to do & if I was really interested I would call them back
I got this young male who asked me if I was looking for information on colleges for Physical Therapist. I had a bad connection but saw that it said "verizon wireless" after the number so I knew it was a cell. The caller didn't sound like he was the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree.
I just called this number back and the guy said that they are company that refer pespective students to universities.... Thing is I have never requested information from them or anyone else as I am already a full time student.
Got a call from this number 10:45 EST time. Called back, didn't ring but I was IMMEDIATELY connected, and I had to say hello first. I hate when that happens. Not even two seconds after I hit the call button, before I even put the phone to my ear, I was conntected. Yes, it's University Adverisors. "We see that someone in your household is interested in going to college." is what she said. I could also hear myself very clearly in the background. Kind of creepy. I'm with AT&T, and thinking of springing for the extra 5 dollars a month to have a block list.
