polo call-very annoying. They continue to do this kind of marketing of the candidate because lots of people do no research. They get to the polling place and vote for a name they remember, a name they like, etc., etc.
If I've gotten several calls for the same candidate, my first thought is much like DanTheMan. No way will this joker get my vote. However, the truth is I've already done the research. Plus my tendency is to vote against the incumbent in favor of a new guy who will walk in with no political clout. I view it as damage control. The more newbies, the harder it makes it for them to pass more of the junk laws they keep churning out.
