Did not answer this call. A few months ago, male with an accent had called about a problem with my computer & I almost fell for it. I am a Senior & not too computer literate with a new computer I set up myself. Figured I did something wrong. Anyway, it is a scam to get you to pay them like $500 to fix your computer. They have called since using different number. I cut them off by telling him what he wanted before he could tell me. He hung up. Now, I screen all calls.
Just got this call from the Indian telling me that something is wrong with my MS computer. Told him I didn't have a computer. He Verified that he was indeed talking to me. He had my name presumably from the telephone listing. I told him that he had the wrong number and that person was not at this number. Then I hung up on him.
Caller ID read "LA Cty MTA", but the Indian-accented caller stated she was calling from "Microsoft? customer support?" as if she were asking a question. I replied that she would be reported because we are on the Do Not Call list. That list is very ineffective, but at least they hang up quickly.
Called ID showed "LA CTY MTA". Caller spoke with foreign accent and stated he wanted to discuss the problems with my windows computer. I explained that I don't have a windows computer but a MAC. He kept trying to convince me I had a windows computer. Idiots. Hung up on the scammers.
