LM...Made a lot of threats, legal, jail time etc. Steve Martin, US treasury agent out of LA. Phone ID gives name as Davis Brown. Sounded really weird like reading from a script. A second call from the same area 213-921-4668, LM...suggested I contact their contact center. Scam! Hang up ASAP!
got this call from this number claiming to represent the US Treasury , lot of threatening comments.says name is steve martin and calling about an enforcement action etc. never mentioned my name or other pertinent info. watch out for this scam
They have called my house phone (claimed to be from the Dept of Treasury) and my cell phone (claimed to be from the IRS) feeding me the same lines as everyone else.
Why would you call him back? There may not be a huge charge on your phone bill, however, the fact is, he's a scammer. Don't give him the time of day and block his number(s).
