LM...Made a lot of threats, legal, jail time etc. Steve Martin, US treasury agent out of LA. Phone ID gives name as Davis Brown. Sounded really weird like reading from a script. A second call from the same area 213-921-4668, LM...suggested I contact their contact center. Scam! Hang up ASAP!
I received this call today. Scared the s*** out of me. Steve Martin was the supervisor. Spoke of issuing a warrant for my arrest. Knew nothing about me.
same type message here in MD, says Steve Martin, Treasury Dept, claiming legal action will be taken. Reverse lookup shows number is land line in Los Angeles.
