Called yesterday telling me he was John Carter from US Government (his grammar) wanting to give me government grant. Asked that if he was "John Carter" was he "calling from Mars?" and hung up. Called again a minute ago.
If you hadn't put the "Mars" comment, I would have. Amazing how these foreign criminals always pick famous names from TV, movies, or books. Well, it gives us all a laugh, & glad you didn't get burned.
He just called me a few mintues ago as well. He's been trying to call me for a week. He said I was approved for a $7,000 grant that I did not need to pay back. I told him I am not interested in your scam and he told me to F**** Off. Hopefully I won't have to deal with this guy again. Does anyone know how they got my info? and should I be worried? If they got my #, who says they didn't get anything else from me.
