Received call from gentleman with accent. Left message that I or my attorney needed to return call. Dumb a** couldn't even get the number right for me to call back. Could tell he was reading from a script, LOL. Feel bad for those that fall for this.
Jusr got a phone call from the" IRS a guy named Richard Walker" said that my 2012 taxes were filed wrong and after many tries to contact me, the IRS filed a warrant for my arrest, and within 2 hours the police was going to come and arrest me. Once i said ok tell them to come and arrest me, He just hang up.
I just received a call from 213-984-1667. The person on the line identified herself as a representative of the legal affairs department and said I was under investigation and needed to contact the officer on my case. The name she gave was Steve O'Conner. She hung up before I could ask any further questions. I called the number she gave me for Steve (btw the same number she called me from) and someone named "Travis" answered. When I pressed him for details and his full name and address... he began to fumble over his words. I then said, "I don't want any legal problems or to go to jail so can I just pay the fine? Do you accept these? He said, These what? I said, "These nuts!" He hung up.
My experience is much the same as "Goose" guy with Asian? foreign accent claiming legal action against "Georgette Hicks" who is not me - threatening call from IRS to have her arrested and legal action taken if she doesn't reply to this number. Also he said he was "Richard Walker" and I couldn't understand aa lot of what he said in his message left when I didn't pick up on the call.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
