Who called from 2142997533

I received this threatening telephone message recorded today, 2/3/16 from the "United States Treasury intending your serious attention. Ignoring this message will be an intensional second attempt to avoid an initial appearance before the magistrate judge or the grand jury for a federal criminal offense. My number is 2142997533." He repeated his telephone number again then ended with "I advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you. Thank you."  No name was recorded on the message just the telephone number.  Ridiculous and Does not make sense on so many levels....

I just received this same exact message today, 2/5/16. Except I didn't hear the 1st part b/c it was left on a voicemail. I heard the message beginning at "second attempt" They called at 10:48am EST.

There's a phone number & email to report scammers saying they're from the US Treasury, IRS, etc. The recording I listened to at 202-927-0650 said they would never attempt to take legal action over the phone or by email. You can leave a detailed message at this number or you can report it by email to [email protected]. I sent an email today.

Received the same message today on my answering machine.  So sick of these scammers, I have to deal with them all day.  Don't need to come home to it.

I got the same message.  No name - just very threatening!  Caller stated I was facing a criminal federal offense and would risk a court hearing if I ignored the call!
