I just saw that "1st attempt" notice on my front door even though I've been home all morning!!!! So I called them and found out exactly what Tonja mentioned in the first post. We recently purchased a house and they want to "welcome" us with a $100 restaurant gift certificate and in return we'll fill out a survey blah blah blah. I had to interrupt him "politely" ad told him I wasn't interested in their service, gift certificate or anything free! Hopefully they'll leave me alone!

We moved to McKinney about 2 weeks ago and I just got the "Sorry We Missed You!" 1st attempt card with my last name and address hand-written on it on my door (yes, the [***] taped it on the KEYHOLE). I was home the entire time and there was no doorbell or knock at the door. I just so happened to look out my front window to see a shady looking dude dressed in basketball shorts and a trashy looking tank top getting into his shady looking jalopy. Immediately looked up the website on the card (www.eclipsehomedist.com) which doesn't work, and then googled the phone #. Glad I came 800notes.com. Always my trusty resource for unknown callers, but I didn't realize it would be for unknown VISITORS to my DOOR. Thanks everyone!!
