From what I see in the comments, I would strongly suggest you never give anyone any information unless you know them and never give out account numbers, banking information or SSN. This does sound like scamming. No reputable company would be rude and threatening..

I just got a call from this number, some man telling me something about they have my license plate and my address and they are going to get me, never told me for what. Got to love telephone harassment by companies that don't even tell you who they are.
I received a debt collection call from this number. I did not answer; a voice mail was left. The man was very civil and up front about calling to collect a debt. He requested me to return his call.
