I didn't hear when it rang. Called back. option 1 was to be removed, but they want all your info to remove you. 2 was to hear their loan song and dance. it is a sales call to cell phones. UNWANTED CALLS can be reported to the FCC. (online) and fraudulence to the attorney general online. Please complain and get these people off the phone minutes! Another way, is to get their address and the ceo's number and send a notice saying that all calls to this number will be billed at 100. /second and that calling that number constitutes permission to bill for that amount and can be collectible in all ways allowed by law. I have gotten some unwanted snail mail stopped that way-----they were sending letters to someone who has been dead for 6 years---a cancer policy for someone who died of cancer. I tried for 6 years to get it stopped and it finally stopped when i sd i was going to charge them by the word for everything they sent me after a certain date. It stopped.
I did not answer the call as I did not know the number and the area code was no where near me, but I did call the number back. They claimed to represent a consumer hardship program for debt relief, but it seemed shady to me especially because other than a car loan and home loan I have no debt. Seems like this could be an identity theft scam.
