I believe that these folks have retrieved a copy of a school directory or have possibly purchased a list from your school district. I can't stand this type of solicitation. We are on the national do not call list and they will be reported. They called us three times! They are trying to sell one of those "appreciation" plaques. I remember being one of those students they targeted while I was in high school. SO I believe this sort of marketing has been around for quite some time.
This company calls at all times during the day, citizens this is a Texas number just in case you want to know. I don't answer the phone because I figured out that it is a telemarkter.
