Who called from 2144385069

Caller ID displayed as "Unknown name" following by an unrecognizable number. I let it go to my answering machine to screen the call. A male representative left a message that said, "Hello? Is XYZ there?" The male representative became silent for a few seconds, then hung up. I then dialed back the number and encountered a human male recording that said, "Please press 2 if you like to remove your number off our list. Thank you." I then hung up.

I did a reverse number using whitepages.com and this number is flagged as "Suspected Spam". The phone carrier is MCI Metro ATS Landline.

The male representative nor the recording did not state the name of the organization they belong to.

UPDATE: Whitepages.com no longer lists this number as "Suspected Spam." Instead, it lists this number as "Spam Level: Low."

UPDATE 2: 214-438-5069 is not listed in whitepages.com anymore.

Caller said nothing, most likely spam and just verifying a valid number.  Block contact.

Another one, just like all the others. This is the third time they've called my cell. Possibly compiling a list of active numbers or verifying who will/won't answer suspicious calls. Whatever, they're up to no good.
