there has been two successful cases and both were found liable for violating the do not call list.  the latest case was directtv.  best of luck to those of you who got the same complaint.

Received calls from this number the past 5 DAYS!! THREE TIMES A DAY/NIGHT!! I never answer and they still call GRR What can be done?

I'm on the do not call list too. This number called me once on 2/13, twice on 2/14, and four times today, 2/15. When I finally began answering out of curiosity, I either got a dial tone or silence. When I call back I get that familiar, "You've reached a number that has been disconnected" recording.  Clearly they have no idea how annoying this is, or worse, know and don't care. The question is, what's the point? Is it just a twist in the wire somewhere and they're clueless? At least it's better than trying to bilk some lonely old lady out of her life savings by feigning interest in her cat.

How do we pursue legal action against these people. I have been  getting these calls and it has been very annoying.

Really, they could stop any time now....
