If you're in an agreement of payment with them then they don't have thye right to call you everyday unless you default on the repayment schedule and it is harrassment contact a lawyer BUT start recording the calls, otherwise you won't have a leg to stand on
This calling service will not stop calling my home. It ask if you are a particular person, then press 1. Nothing happens if you press 1. If you call the back, you only get voicemail. I can not tell you how irritating this is!
Pinnacle Financial Group calls me daily from different numbers. I'm paying them what we had agreed to every month and still even after receiving my payment they call me every day. Is this harassment I believe it is and tell them so, they say it isn't and have the right to call to collect a debt.
Another example of why disputing a debt and setting contact restrictions is much preferable to hurriedly making any "deal" or "arrangement" with lawbreaking collectors. They will do and say anything to wriggle away from whatever agreement and continue blaming the consumer.
The FDCPA forbids harassing and annoying call patterns but doesn't define or benchmark them. In your place I would stop paying and start documenting calls, noting anything abusive or deceptive, then work up a lawsuit. At worst you'll force them to play fair, and at best see your whole debt go "poof" in statutory and actual damages paid to you.
