This is Mavel Associates, a less-than-professional collection agency. They buy written-off debts from as many as 10+ years ago. Many of their tactics are illegal, but they get away with it because the enforcement is not high on anyone's priority list.
I have called these people and ask them to remove my number and they continue to call me. I am not the person they are looking for and I am tired of them hanging up on me. My time is valuable and I am seeking an attorney to help avoid anymore crap from them. I am also calling the police and contacting the media. I do believe they will lose my number very soon.
This company is calling for a different indiviual. I have told them for the passed 6 months i'm not that person. The company called me back to back one evening. I tried to explain to them, but later another person called and said, you know who it is and we are going to be your worst nightmare. I have since, spoke to a lawyer. I get so feed up with these unprofessional companies who treat you like you are beneath them because you needed money.
Last month it was Genpact. This month it is what ever they call themselves. The man that called me called himself a criminal investigator. I played along with him and then told him that he needed to contact my attorney and then he started rattling off that it looked like they had already talked to him and it looked like i had filed bankruptcy. When I confronted him on that he started changing his tune. Funny thing is, I don't have an attorney for them to talk to yet. But I will by days end.
