Receive a call several times a day, no one replies, then the call disconnects. Caller ID shows unknown name. I have called back and a recorded message allows you to add your number to the Do Not Call List, problem solved.
They call me every day and leave no message. I called back from another line, they claim to be "national saving center" auto insurance. Clearly fake, though the guy was very nice when I told him I didn't believe it was a real company. They offer an option to add your number to their "do not call" list, which I worry is also a scam (now they can tell other scamers that mine is a legitimate phone number).
Since I listed my cell phone on the do not call registry, I have received more telemarketing phone calls than before I did this. I don't answer the numbers I don't recognize, and then block them.
eleven calls in nine days. don't answer. up til today caller id was the number. today it said auto saving. they call
every norn at about ten. i'm tempted to answer and tell them i do not own a car.
