Receive a call several times a day, no one replies, then the call disconnects. Caller ID shows unknown name. I have called back and a recorded message allows you to add your number to the Do Not Call List, problem solved.

About the same as the "do not murder" law - lawbreakers and criminals (violent and telephonic) don't care that there are laws in place.
You need to read up on what the DNC registry is and what it is not. It is not a call blocker.
Someone calls from this number every day every 2 hours from 10 am - 9 pm for the past 3 weeks. Never leave a message.
If it's important, they'd leave a message, right???? I just shut the ringer off on my phone.
