Receive a call several times a day, no one replies, then the call disconnects. Caller ID shows unknown name. I have called back and a recorded message allows you to add your number to the Do Not Call List, problem solved.
I get telemarketer calls from all over the U.S. even though I'm on the DNC list. I answered this one because my auto insurance co., whom I actually spoke with yesterday is based in TX, so I thought they were calling me back for some reason. This guy kept trying to sell me auto insurance at "35% less" than what I'm paying now. I didn't give him any info about what co. I use or what I drive, I just told him "I'm very happy with my current auto ins. co. & I'm not switching. Do not call me again." He kept pushing so I hung up & blocked the #.
They call here every day. If I don't answer they hang up, no message. If I do answer but say nothing, they will say Hello. That's when I hang up. They don't call back right away. The call is from Dallas TX
