Same as the first one; however, claiming to be from the Federal Crime Enforcement Network - freaked out my elderly mother. If this has been happening for weeks from the same number - why can't someone do something about it?
I got the same message from 214-584-6676 as Drew. It was a threatening call. I called the local police (not 911) and they came to my home within 10 minutes. I played the recorded call. The police said they are aware of it but they cannot do anything about it because although the number is from Dallas the caller is from the Middle East or Asia. They said just ignore it. I am sending this message so other people would not get alarmed if they receive a call from these gangsters. DO NOT CALL BACK, JUST IGNORE!
I received exactly same call initially from from 219 741 1900 then he said he is going to transfer me to a federal agent called Michael black. he said that there is an arrest warrant getting issued on my name and officers would be at my door within 1/2 hour. He said that I owe money to IRS and inorder to avoid arrest warrrant I should pay $ 2850.35 while I am on the phone. He said that his phone number is 214 584 6676. I was concerned in the begining but realized that he is fake later in the phone call as he suggested that I have to pay immediately through federal card.
