I called it back to make sure, It was Carter Blood Care. They've called from a variety 214 & 817 prefixes in the past my auto caller id feature will usually identify. This particular # was identified as "unknown." they'd been calling me alot lately, as demand/need is especially high during the summer & but I just gave 5 days ago. Probably were calling to thank me for my recent donation or trying already to get me to come back to make a plasma or platelet donation. You can only donate whole blood every 56 days. Once you've given with them they try to get you to come back regularly. Only 5% who can donate do regularly & approximately 60% of the population can't give for many reasons even if they wanted to. Our blood supply is always in need & it's the most important item in medicine man can't replicate & most likely will need at some point during our lifetime, please donate!
