Problem is, you have to find them, and you have to sue them in their home town, not yours. You might me able to recoop your costs of the flight out there, though. Bigger problem is that most of these people are not legitimate telemarketers. They are scam artists with spoofed numbers, so it's much more difficult to track them down and sue them or get them arrested.
When I'm not busy, I let them go on and on. Then when they're about to close the sale, I hang up.
I did that just now and the guy called back. I just picked up the phone and laid it down on the desk. When I went back to it, it was dead air. Excellent. Now they're wasting more of their time and more of their money.
With discouragement like that, maybe that guy will quit the job. Or maybe the company will lose money.
IM NOT SURE WHO CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER BUT THEY ARE REALLY RUDE! THE MAN WAS SUPER SMART_ _ _ AFTER I TOL HIM THE PERSON HE WAS LOOKING FOR WAS NOT HERE. OH HOW I WOULD LIKE FOR HIM TO CALL BACK AGAIN SO I CAN SCHEDULE A MEETING TO RIP HIM A NEW ONE.
This number calls a few times a week asking for the owner of the company, I have ask them very nicely to stop calling, I also told them that they are calling my cell phone number and that I'm on the Do Not Call list and to remove me from their list, they always just hanp up and a few days later they are calling again, what can I do?
WE ARE A BUSINESS THAT GETS REPEATED CALLS DAILY FROM THESE VERY RUDE & OBNOXIOUS PEOPLE, I HAVE TURNED THE NUMBER OVER TO THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE. 214-624-5721....CELL PHONE FROM TEXAS. IF EVERYONE DOES THIS WHO KNOWS???
