Problem is, you have to find them, and you have to sue them in their home town, not yours. You might me able to recoop your costs of the flight out there, though. Bigger problem is that most of these people are not legitimate telemarketers. They are scam artists with spoofed numbers, so it's much more difficult to track them down and sue them or get them arrested.
What I can't figure out is why they think my residential phone number is a business? I don't even own a business and have not for at least 8 years! Even back then, this was not a business address or business phone located here.
It's too bad this is the only kind of work some people can get.
simply tell them that they called a business and that
the business is corporately owned and they need to call the main office
offer them their own number as your corporate office telephone #
