Problem is, you have to find them, and you have to sue them in their home town, not yours. You might me able to recoop your costs of the flight out there, though. Bigger problem is that most of these people are not legitimate telemarketers. They are scam artists with spoofed numbers, so it's much more difficult to track them down and sue them or get them arrested.
repeated calls merchant services - have told them over and over do not call and remove me from call list. They are trying to sell credit cards processing-they attempt to make an appointment with the owner so they rep who will be able to make a sales call.
Have told these people over 100 times in the last 2 months I have no need or interest. Have reported them to the FCC and FTC
The national Do-Not-Call list protects home voice or personal wireless phone numbers only. While you may be able to register a business number, your registration will not make telephone solicitations to that number unlawful. Similarly, registering either a home or business fax number will not make sending a fax advertisement to that number unlawful, but the FCC has separate rules that prohibit unsolicited fax advertisements under most circumstances. Have you read some of the comments from others? Some who post here ARE on the national Do-Not-Call list. Apparently, being on that list does nothing to stop these types of calls. In fact, I think its just gives these scammers a list of people to call!
