Today I got a voice mail from an automated caller identifying himself as Officer Steve Parker from the IRS. Seems there is a tax fraud against me and I need to call this dude back ASAP or I will be arrested.
it is fake. they will try to scam you out of money.
they will tell you to pay them via money gram, western union, bank wire, etc to avoid any "further action" from the "IRS."
it's a scam. don't fall for it.
I got a call today and Brian Easterwood claimed to be an agent from the IRS. He said they had a fraudulent case against me for calculation errors 5 years ago. He also said they had enough evidence to put me behind bars. Also, hindsight, he was a foreigner with an American name. He became agitated as I became upset about lack of notification. Seeing this online brings me some relief.
